Steve's Tattoo Studio, now in its 22nd year was opened in 1987 and is located in Hadfield in the Peak District of Derbyshire, and is just 12 miles from Manchester.
Hadfield was made famous when the TV series the League of Gentlemen used the village for Royston Vasey in the show. The tattoo studio was shown many times in the programme and tattoo artist Steve Potton was featured twice.
This may be a local tattoo shop but the clientele, coming from all over the U.K., and tattoo artist Steve Potton, originally from Southend in Essex, are not. Steve has now been tattooing for 25 years, first picking up a machine in 1979 and opening his first shop in 1980 in Southend. Steve is entirely self taught and is able to tattoo any design, any style confidently and expertly.
Specialising in covering old or badly done tattoos, bio mechanical/organic, portraits, wildlife, Japanese, etc.
